Born Christian Saint James, the Hackensack, New Jersey creative who's rap name is a play on his middle and last name, is from the STTP crew. With 8aint Jame8 (pronounced Saint James) growing up on hip hop in the Metro New York area during the 2000s, it made him understand the importance of bars, style, and substance. But also with him being a producer and a fan of multiple producers throughout music, he's developed a way to blend his love for lyricism with melodic cadences over trap and modern boom bap. 8aint made his first appearance with the 1st entry in his Clips EP series, Clips Vol. 1 in 2017. In 2018, he followed up with Clips Vol. 2 and by early 2019, he released Clips Vol. 3. Since 2019, 8aint and the STTP crew performed at multiple shows throughout New Jersey and NYC and built a strong following. By gaining momentum and new fans from local performances, 8aint then released Clips, Vol. IV, in January 2020. STTP is now in the process of rolling out #TheGreatFlood which includes a slew of new music from STTP artists including the re-release of the STTP compilation, #STTPSZN. 8aint has now released his first full-length project, I Am H.I.M. 2, featuring the single "Honestly". With 8aint crafting his own unique wave of east coast hip hop over the years, he remains calm and confident on his path to personal triumph by remaining firm in his unwillingness to compromise creativity while staying true to self.
