ScruseBoy was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and has been rapping since 9 yrs old. He came up battling local artist to make a name for himself and gained a healthy fan base locally. ScruseBoy then moved out to Arizona, where he was introduced to recording. He joined an AZ based team, Da Troops, who were working on a project, "Prop 203" After Da Troops finished the project came show after show which got ScruseBoy excited to make it a career. In 2011 He released his first mix tape, "A Pocket Full", that was a success. Spring of 2012, he released another mixtape "Same Old New S***" that received more acclaim than the first. In 2015, ScruseBoy joined Underground Samurai Music Group with Atari Monroe , William Speakz , King Content and Good News. ScruseBoy and fellow UGS member William Speakz make the duo known as BadBoys. In 2017, he received a cosign from hip hop icon Rakim after performing at one of his shows. He built much notoriety in 2017-2018 performing at a plethora of shows, opening for artists such as MadeinTYO, Stalley, Talib Kweli, DeJ Loaf and Nappy Roots as well as performing at the Pot of Gold Festival. In 2018, ScruseBoy released his first official retail single, Brathas in Need, and is currently working on his debut album
