Graham Fitkin is a UK composer who works with acoustic and electronic instruments. Collaborations range from dance, film and digital media alongside concert orchestral and chamber music. Graham is committed to music making across all platforms - performing, conducting, publishing, producing and educating... He was previously Composer-in-Residence with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and London Chamber Orchestra. Commissions from the Halle, BBC Philharmonic, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, RSNO, BBC Symphony Orchestra. His collaborations include those with Yo-Yo Ma, Sacconi Quartet, Kathryn Stott, Nederlands Blazersensemble, Powerplant, Will Gregory, Ensemble Bash, Piano Circus. Dance collaborations with Shobana Jeyasingh, Wayne McGregor, Pacific Northwest Ballet, New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Bi-Ma etc. Cross-Art projects include those with Olympiad 2012, Tate St Ives, Minack Theatre, VR collaboration with Shezad Dawood, Geography music app for HfC and 2020 7 country concerts/tree-planting Birch project. He has won three BASCA Composer Awards, International Grand Prix Dance Music Award 2000, Royal Philharmonic Society Composer of the Year 2015.
