King Walt, formerly known as Walter Chamberlain, born Walter Greene into a single mother home in 1990. With two older siblings and his mom in the church, Walt’s passion for music grew as he was the drummer of the choir. Growing up in Sumter, SC started to take a toll on him at an early age, Walt moved to Savannah, GA at the age of 15. New to the city, his popularity grew fast as he began to release freestyles on hot songs for MySpace. He then saw a perfect opportunity to chase his dreams and aggressively asserted himself and came across the ears off the top artists in the city. He continued to grow while music became an obsession for him. His sound landed him a meeting with super producer Afro Steve. Steve took Walt in and taught him how to mix his own music. Finding his sound, Walt then took the industry on with a full head of steam. Years later he packed up his things and moved to Atlanta GA. In a city where dreams come true everyday, King Walt put his foot in the music game and has no intention on stepping out.
