« Music is a spec­trum, and I'm all over it. » Lucia Loot is a french-dutch DJ & producer based in Paris. Active member of the feminist collective Vénus Club she joined recently, she came into contact with music first through producing music from very various and diverse settings, although always alternative music. After founding Big Piaf Music, a French record label and collective of musicians, she started to take interest into DJing as both an art form and a way to link people to the music, and vice-versa. Quite resentful towards labels, the transfeminine and lesbian DJ takes hybridization to the max, blending Bass Music, UK Garage, Hyperpop, Rave Techno, Baile Funk, and any sound she may stumble upon in her never-ending curiosity. When she's not showcasing the full mosaic of sounds that fuels her creativity, she is sailing fast on the new wave of UK Garage and bass music and using her trendy and cutting-edge selecta to unfold a true tidal wave of syncopated rhythms and powerful subs. The young producer already has released two solo projects, including AVANT ENCORE, a compilation of melancholic and Hyperpop anthems from a sad, but proud, android.
