Drawing inspiration from jazzy 90’s hip-hop and the analog productions of the 70s, Bastido's music is incessantly moving in relaxed and stress-free sounds. Since his million-streamed debut beat tape travels:barcelona in 2018 and other projects in the lofi hip-hop / jazz-hop genre, the musician and producer has begun to mix his originally purely instrumental sound with influences from alternative R&B and jazz. His most recent releases Sera (2021) and Alba (2022) were created in collaboration with artists from various genres who have significantly shaped the unconventional style and sound. With the collaboration album "Mid 20s" together with singer Lia J, Bastido will present a project in July 2024 that not only reflects both the experiences and emotions of the personal mid-twenties as well as the social challenges and crises of the 21st century's twenties.
