Nariaki is a Japanese musician and artist based in London, who is one of the most mysterious and respected figures in the contemporary Japanese music scene. His music, characterized by beautiful Japanese lyricism and a sweet, expansive voice, as showcased in his notable works Gaia (2019) and Butter (2021), has the power to captivate listeners instantly. Releasing numerous conceptual music pieces, and mostly self-producing his songs, he holds significant influence, particularly among Japan's music enthusiasts. Rising to prominence with his guest vocals on "Tomodachi" (2016) by Hikaru Utada, one of the most Japanese best-selling artist, he later debuted as a solo artist with "Lonely One" (2018) under Epic Records Japan, before relocating abruptly to London. In 2019, his second album "Piercing" shocked fans with its aesthetic storytelling and avant-garde style. This album continues to be cherished by many as a cornerstone of Japanese alternative R&B.
