A multi-faceted, multi-genre musician, Vedanth Bharadwaj specialises in singing and playing the songs of saint poets from the Bhakti and Sufi traditions at music festivals in India and across the world. He has formally learnt Carnatic, Hindustani and Western Classical music and is currently a disciple of maestro Ramamoorthy Rao. In addition to composing music for dance/ theatre productions, award winning feature films, advertisements, documentaries, and music albums, Vedanth is the co-director of Nalandaway's Chennai Children's Choir (featuring young talent from economically disadvantaged backgrounds), which represented India at the Serenade Chorale Festival at the Kennedy Centre in Washington DC. Vedanth wishes to spread hope, love and peace in our world through music.
