Pharao Black Magic was conceived several years ago for its members to get free drinks and meet girls. With the passing of time, alcohol has been replaced by green juice and Netflix & chill is the new game. Between binge-rewatching Seinfeld and eating Ben & Jerry’s, this laterally growing duo occasionally manages to churn out an “original”, an edit or the odd remix. Mainly operating from couches based in Berlin, Basel, New York City and Beijing, connected by broken WiFi routers and Blackberrys, Pharao Black Magic still is a force to reckon with: A cosmic energy, an incandescent light, a star in motion, the sun plummeting to Earth
