“Experimental, yet accessible indie-jazz” The four band members have for several years played together in Berlin on the city's exuberant music scene, and everything from avant-garde jazz to East African folk music, has formed the breeding ground for their meeting on the album FATAMORGANA. In the new quartet with Rasmus Holm (DK) at the helm, the band, without a chord instrument, aims to create a sonic reflection that is experimental and innovative, and at the same time gives a feeling of musical familiarity. It is manifested in FATAMORGANA's musical diversity, where the band, which in addition to Rasmus Holm on trombone, consists of Julius Gawlik (DE) tenor saxophone and clarinet, Thorbjørn Stefansson (DK) double bass and Amund Kleppan (NO) drums, explores this atypical constellation.
