Biography

Stevie Creed is a Scottish recording artist/ actor and writer best known to audiences as The Brooklyn Scotsman. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland. At the age of 12, he formed the hip hop group Loose Endz with his best friends and began writing and recording music. In 2010, Stevie travelled from Scotland to East New York. In one of the roughest Brooklyn neighbourhoods in New York City, he soon began establishing himself. In 2014 he headlined his first show at The Pyramid Club in Manhattan, had his dance single Ballerina played on major clear channel radio stations all over America and released his debut album, The Brooklyn Scotsman. Stevie went on to headline many sold out shows back home in Scotland. In August 2018 he performed 24 shows at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in his own biographical hip hop musical, which he also wrote. That August Stevie released his much anticipated EP In Creed We Trust. In August 2019 Stevie completed his second full run at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his theatre show and was filmed for a BBC documentary based on his life which follows him back to New York City to record an album/ music video and put on a show for the Brooklyn community. In June 2020 BBC Scotland broadcast Stevie's documentary, The Brooklyn Scotsman. Stevie is currently preparing for the release of his most anticipated album to date, Concreed Jungle. He has also just completed writing a book called The Brooklyn Scotsman and is planning to tour his stage show.
