Biography

The story begins with the classic Arsonists debut album As the World Burns (Deluxe Edition) (1999), dropping a gem of an album and considered one of the best live hip hop acts at that time, followed up by Date of Birth (2001). ILL BILL of Non Phixion would executive produce Q’s solo debut Vengeance Is Mine (2004), putting a spotlight on a new side of Q, with songs like The Set Up & One Shot , Q earned himself another underground classic. Fat Beats records dropped his 2nd album, Between Heaven and Hell (2010) stacked with quality tracks, giving Q a hit video Green Grass. Q teamed up with the Brown Bag Allstars to produce his 3rd album BlaQ Coffee (2016), a welcomed change of pace to Q’s material with no collaborations. His 4th album The Mechanic (2018) The back and fourth fire of Cult Leader & Capital with ILL BILL highlights the intensity and skill level that we’ve all loved from the pair, other stand outs Thank You for Letting Me... & Let the Games Begin show Q’s range of not only rhyming but singing, which is a direct line from his alternative rock band Stillwell . Amongst all of his albums, Q had the privilege to take part in other great tracks, Vinnie Paz Shadow of the Guillotine from off the God of the Serengeti album. ILL BILL’s “Canarsie Artie’s Brigade” from What's Wrong With Bill? , to several collaborations with the likes of La Coka Nostra , DJ Muggs , Tony Touch ,Pitbull , The Psycho Realm , Taking Back Sunday & Cappadonna from Wu-Tang Clan
