Starting out his musical career in pop music of the mid eighties with his sister Elisa Waut , Hans Helewaut continued his path as a composer for film and television. His work ranges from symphonic scores as Cafard , Koning van de Wereld or Heinz to intimate ensembles for documentaries. He also wrote the music for several animation series such as Robotboy, Gawayn, Dimitri, Kika & Bob and Sir mouse. A few sidesteps include the albums ‘Vazah’ with Dozzy Njava and ‘Meanwhile Up in the Snowy Mountains’. Besides composing he loves playing saxophone.
