Hi, I go by the name of Burgess. Born in the south East of UK (Dartford and Bexleyheath). Most of my music content is driven by personal experience and wearing my heart on my sleeve. I guess this has come from influences I had from hip hop in the early 00’s and before then so, I’ve carried it with me ever since. This also plays part in my artist name “Burgess” which is my second name so I found honesty and clarity behind it. I’ve always been writing, recording, mixing my own music with the intention to be the best version of myself. Had a few ups and downs creatively In the past but now I feel much more in the driving seat of my own ability.
