CLOCKTOPUS is a many-tentacled musical being. Formed out of Dutch musicians, forged in the Thai jungle. The sum of the many songwriters coming from different genres and styles, and the many lead vocalists, make the music of this band/collective as diverse as it is adventurous. From psyched-out space rock to gloomy folk ballads, and from orchestral hiphop blues to straight-up popsongs. A bunch of musician friends who have all earned their spurs in the Netherlands, built a studio in the jungle of Thailand out of bamboo, covered with palm leaves. After a month of recording in the scorching heat, but also during hellish tropical storms, they returned with their suitcases full of music. in which you can sometimes still hear the jungle sounds in the background.
