Hailing from Denver, CO, Grammy-nominated producer and DJ Wuki (Kris Barman) commands a global following with his genre-blending expertise, seamlessly mixing booty, breaks, electro, and house into club anthems. A former member of Innerpartysystem (2007-2011), Wuki's solo career has amassed 200+ million streams. He founded Wukileaks, his record label, and hosts Wukileaks Wednesdays. In 2021, his remix of Miley Cyrus' 'Mother's Daughter' earned him a Grammy nomination. Wuki became a TikTok sensation with tracks like 'Better' and 'DADADADA,' garnering millions of uses and 500,000+ followers through "Beats I Can't Release" series. His 2021 debut album featured Diplo, Smokepurpp, and Juvenile. In 2022, being more house-forward leaning, he remade Stevie Nicks' 'Edge of Seventeen,' gaining 40 million Spotify streams, tons of radio play, and DJ support. The "Edge" Tour sold out nearly every date. His collaboration with Lee Foss, "To Be Real," sampled Cheryl Lynn's "Got To Be Real," earning acclaim from John Summit, The Chainsmokers, and others. Wuki's latest release, a sample of the Temptations' "My Girl," was well-received by Fisher, BLOND:ISH, Calvin Harris, and more, setting the stage for his biggest career moment. Closing out 2023 with a 15+ date “Sunshine” Tour, he's featured at major festivals and clubs like NOVA SD and Exchange LA. Wuki's journey continues to evolve, leaving an indelible mark on the world of electronic music.
