Armenta was born in Anaheim, CA to parents from Guerrero, Mexico. He started singing and perform at the age of five, under the influence of his father, who was a mariachi musician & singer himself. Armenta would go to Mexican restaurants to sing with his father's mariachi bands around Orange County. Armenta would later live in Mexico which open his mind to the world of Banda music. Watching front row and meeting Banda Maguey & Banda Pequeños Musical backstage was a pinnacle moment in Armenta's life. During his teens, the family found other opportunities in The Carolinas. Armenta would become part of the school's choir team, starting his own R&B group, and learned the skillsets of rap. The urban lifestyle was changing how L. Armenta saw music, fashion and songwriting. Armenta was offered his first record deal right after high school but Armenta turned it down. He continued his development and traveled across the East Coast performing his music. Now, Armenta has taken his talents to South Beach. The South Florida lifestyle has Armenta dropping tropical trap hits. His album King Gallo gives you just that. A Southern Sazon pa'l azado.
