Roobens D’or was born in Saint Marc, Haiti and from a young age, gospel music played a major role in his life. Graduated in Educational leadership and curriculum with a doctoral degree in 2019 from North eastern University in MA, Roobens D’or has used his God given talent to minster through music. This talented singer has marked the evangelical world in his community by participating in several projects such as Festival Evangelical, concerts, videos (Senye M'ba ou ke mwen, Psalms 23) and various groups such as ( Haitian Mass Choir of Stamford, YES band, Constellations band , Salvation Mass Choir, Gospel Vision (GV), RG Choir). Dr. Dort released his second solo project, "In my Becoming ", which is a work that reflects emotional journey of the way in which God has shaped and continues to guide him through life. Currently, he is working on his third project entitled” Gras Ou Sifi” which will be available everywhere this summer. From his younger days, Roobens influenced by listening Artists, such as Rigaud Duverne, Pastor Ron Kenolly, Hill song music, Donnie Mcklukin and Kirk Franklin. Roobens, with a voice full of grace, mixes with the product of his mastery of the instruments offers soul bliss.
