Priv is a Leicester-based music producer & engineer. Raised in the rural outskirts of the city, he is of dual English and Indian descent. In his role as in-house producer and mixing engineer at renowned city centre studio, HQ Recording, Priv has worked with some of the finest talent the city & the East Midlands has to offer; his versatility and attention to detail has made him a go-to-guy for the up-&-coming artists of the area. After his first foray into the music industry in the House & Pop genres at the tender age of 16, Priv now works mainly in the Hip-Hop/R&B world, crafting hypnotic and soulful rap beats for artists such as Jafro & Phidizz.
