Biography

Born Tuscaloosa, Alabama March 19,1975. Plays several instruments (all brass instruments, drums and piano) Studied Jazz Studies at the University of Alabama Played drums professionally from 1993 - 2000. Presently plays piano and organ professionally. First production deal was with Eightways Entertainment in 2000 (8Ball and MJG) Winner of several beat battles from 2005-2010, including Modern Producer Showcase in Atlanta, Ga. and TJ’s DJ’s Record Pool Battle in Tallahassee, Fl. Since 2005, has produced or co-produced for: Boosie, Pastor Troy, Rick Ross, Raheem The Dream, Kilo Ali, MC Shy D, SplackPack, 12 Gauge, LA Sno, Tetraz and K Chill, Ying Yang Twins, DJ Taz, Dis N Dat, 95 South, DJ Kool, Thrill Da Playa (69 Boyz), BBJay and Emcee N.I.C.E. Has produced several Billboard Number Top Ten records, including: “Glory To God, ‘ Emcee N.I.C.E. feat.Fred Hammond (Number 1); “Angels” Emcee N.I.C.E. feat. Richard Smallwood (Number 1); the album “Praise” by Emcee N.I.C.E. (Number 1). Also several Top Ten records on the Digital Radio Tracker charts, including: “Alright” Emcee N.I.C.E. (Number 1); “Chainz” Rezurrection feat. Erica Mason (Number 1); “Let’s Go” BBJay (Number 1); “Gimme Some More” Seth Jacobsen (Number 1); “ZAZA” Bosco Babyy (Number 8); and several other charting records. Recognized by Ryze Magazine as one of the top Five Producers in Christian Hip Hop. Multiple time Grammy, Dove, and Stellar Award nominee. Kingdom Choice Award Producer of the Year in 2019.
