Bianca Blanc is a talented and hardworking independent singer/songwriter from Centurion, Gauteng with an amazing voice and passion for music. She composes her own music, Afrikaans and English, shaping her tunes on either the guitar, ukelele or piano with a keen sense of musicality. Bianca Blanc signed to leading independent record label Just Music in June 2017 after her undeniable talent shone through at the Just Music Live Acoustic Sessions. Her debut pop single Butterflies, released in 2018, earned her a remarkable 12 weeks at the number 1 spot on the 5FM Top 10@10 Pop chart. Deezer announced Bianca Blanc as the Deezer NEXT priority act for South Africa, class of 2018/2019 and subsequently released the Deezer Sessions EP including Bianca's version of Behoort Aan Niemand Nie by Francois van Coke. After the success of her cover of this iconic song Bianca decided to enter the Afrikaans music scene. In 2023 Bianca entered the esteemed Afrikaans music talent competition, Die Kontrak, produced by Coleske Artists, where she made it to the Top 3! Her brand new own composition, Ek Wil Onthou, which was featured the show is due for release on 27 Septetmber 2024! Watch this space! Off stage, Bianca Blanc is a vocal and songwriting coach at Studio Cha, an actress, model, voice over artist, backing vocalist, brand ambassador, photographer at Blanc Canvas Photography, visual artist and MC. She is also currently pursuing her Bachelor of Education studies at NWU.
