Jungle (feat. E-40 & Abraham Mateo)

Biography

The Stereotypes are a GRAMMY® Award-winning, multi-platinum production and songwriting team made up of Jonathan Yip, Ray Romulus, Jeremy Reeves, and Charm. They won two 2018 GRAMMY® Awards for Song of the Year and Best R&B Song for their work on Bruno Mars' six-times platinum, #1 hit "That's What I Like," which they co-produced and co-wrote along with “Finesse.” They have additional production credits on "24K Magic." The Stereotypes are also behind recent hits including KYLE’s “Sunshine” ft. Miguel, Fifth Harmony’s “Deliver,” Lil Yachty’s “Better” and Iggy Azalea’s “Mo Bounce” which earned them a 2018 GRAMMY® Award nomination for Producer of the Year (Non-Classical). The Stereotypes have worked with the likes of Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and Pitbull, who they released a collaborative single with in 2017 – “Jungle” feat. E-40 & Abraham Mateo. After forming in 2007 with Danity Kane’s platinum-certified “Damaged,” The Stereotypes went on to produce and write across genres, including K-pop (Red Velvet’s “Bad Boy,” Super Junior’s “Devil,” BoA’s “Kiss My Lips,” Taemin’s “Press Your Number”) and they signed Far East Movement and others to their production company The Stereotypes Music via Interscope Records. After re-connecting with old friend and songwriting partner Bruno Mars for the 24K Magic album, The Stereotypes have skyrocketed to GRAMMY-winning success and have become go-to hitmakers in music.
