Patrik Andrén is an award winning composer for film, TV and video games now living in Toronto, Canada. He is best known for his music in the TV series The Bridge (Bron, all seasons) that earned world acclaimed success and the AAA Electronic Arts video games Battlefield 1 and 5 that he composed together with Johan Söderqvist. Born in Sweden, Andrén began playing piano at a young age and later also mallets and percussion. He moved to Boston where he got a Degree in Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music. When he returned to Stockholm, Sweden he worked as a musician and keyboardist, producing, touring and writing for various pop acts before his journey in film music commenced. Andrén joined composer Johan Söderqvist in 2010, where he composed scores such as Department Q: The Keeper of Lost Causes (Kvinnan i Buret) and The Absent One (Fasandräparna), and contributed music to the scores for Kon-Tiki (Academy Award nominated), Serena (starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence), and The King’s Choice (Kongens Nei), among other projects
