BOKKA is one of the most amazing phenomena on the music scene. Their masked faces are just an introduction to the extraordinary story of a band that did not need names to create an identity. They appeared out of nowhere with their debut single Town Of Strangers in 2013. Their first album was well-received home and abroad - including a flattering review from Pitchfork. An original approach to both their image and music creation, which is best evidenced by their use of surprising, often random, instruments, quickly became the hallmark of BOKKA. The band has performed on stages at some of the most important events in Europe, including The Great Escape, Colours of Ostrava, Reeperbahn and Eurosonic, as well as in clubs in Brussels, Prague and Budapest. Their discography includes the nostalgic self titled album “Bokka”, energetic Don’t Kiss And Tell, cosmic Life On Planet B and apocalyptic Blood Moon. Their music was also remixed by the likes of Dave Pen (Archive), NOËP or The KVB, and featured on Netflix TV Series. Since their debut BOKKA received 3 Fryderyk Awards Nominations (BRIT Awards and Grammy Awards counterpart). Their videos earned several international awards and nominations including Berlin Video Music Awards, SXSW Awards, and many more. The Band was also nominated at Camerimage Festival 2022 among the likes of Lykke Li, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, and Rammstein. The band is currently promoting its anniversary album BOKKA HITS 10.
