Raef Al Hasan Rafa stepped into the music world in 2003 with a Nu Metal band called Sykokinesis. This was just a fun project with friends, but it set Rafa's music career in motion. Around the same time, his brother Saadi formed the band Kral. Rafa performed his first big gig at the Russian Cultural Center, followed by another show with Kral at Hotel Abakash. His career took a turn when he met Sumon from Aurthohin. With Sumon's friendship, Rafa got the chance to join Aurthohin as a vocalist and later as a guitarist. Rafa's talent didn't stop there. He joined Cryptic Fate, a renowned heavy metal band from Bangladesh, as a drummer. This further broadened his musical range and experience. After years with Aurthohin, Rafa left to start his own band, AvoidRafa. His music interests also extend to hip-hop, with some tracks in the works. But at the end of the day, Rafa's true love is rock and sometimes, a bit of metal. His journey from a fun school band to a musician known for his versatility is a testament to his talent and dedication.
