Sektion, formally known as “Ce-Sektion”, was born in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1987. Growing up on the East side of St.Paul, he was introduced to Hip-Hop at an early age by family and friends. What first started as writing poetry, quickly evolved into creating full rap songs, freestyling and battle rapping. At the age of 13, Sektion began releasing music from his self-built home recording studio onto the internet, swiftly captivating many music-based social sites. Despite having multiple well known producers in his corner, at the age of 15, Sektion took it upon himself to learn how to make beats, which opened many doors in the local Minnesota scene for himself. At the Age of 22, Sektion Moved from Minnesota to Ontario, Canada. He then Immediately picked up where he left off, recording his own music and producing for many well known talents worldwide. Over the years, Sektion has released multiple rap albums, instrumental cd’s and is also a well-established award winning battle rapper known in the international rap battle community for his collective skill sets. In December, 2018 he released his first fully self produced album ‘Silent No more’ which is available on all music streaming platforms.
