Collectively Alone is a music project created by composer/producer Túllio Zarpão during the 2020 pandemic. Blending genres such as lo-fi, pop, post-rock, and ambient music, the project succeeded in creating a dreamy sound atmosphere, embracing the listeners with soothing textures and melodies. The first album was released on May 6, 2021, counting with special guests from the Brazilian music and art scene. In July 2021 the song "Summer Rain" won the "Song of the Summer" contest promoted by Artist Republik. Inspired by the ocean and the mysteries of human subconsciousness, Túllio Zarpão composed Collectively Alone's second album "Submerged in Subconsciousness". Once again counting on very talented guests on each track. This time the idea was to approach a more soothing and textural composition, and for this, the idea was to create an instrumental ambient lofi album with progressive and psychedelic elements, such as unusual time signatures and polyrhythms. The album was released on 10th July 2022 and has as its main concept a parallel between the ocean pelagic zones and the sleep phases.
