Franklin Orlando Martínez Jr., known as Tati, began his artistic journey in music at 16. Lil Tati was born and raised in Miami, immersing himself in both Latin and American culture, with figures like Daddy Yankee, Lil Wayne, T.I., and Drake as part of his influences. Tati started improvising with his friends in high school. Classes were the perfect stage to unleash his bars and polish his freestyle skills. One day, Lil Tati surprised his father, Franklin Martínez, known in the industry as Frank Miami, by showing him some of his lyrics and showcasing his talent in performance. Lil Tati dabbled in piano but rapidly realized that the best instrument he could master was his voice. With Frank’s support, Tati began writing more songs and perfecting his craft. Initially, his lyrics addressed typical urban genre themes like money, women, and guns. But those themes never felt authentic to him. The turning point came when the Carbon Fiber record label he signed in 2020 made positive urban music with a Christian message. At first, Tati resisted the drastic change. But soon, he also experienced a personal spiritual conversion, drawing closer to religion, changing his lifestyle, and engaging in faith circles. He fully embraced Carbon Fiber's approach to making music for God and inspiring young people. Driven by dreams and visions that confirmed his new mission, Lil Tati now sees his gift for music to convey a positive message to his fans
