NEO Blue is a Lo-Fi Hip hop producer based in New Haven, Connecticut who began his beat-making journey during his Senior year of Highschool. Blue draws inspiration from Producers such as J Dilla, Funky DL, Monte Booker, BLVK, and many more. His love for jazz and Bossanova can be heard throughout many of his track sample selections. NEO Blues music evokes the feeling of early 90's Nostalgia His lo-fidelity processing on his beats really helps in pushing that early "beat batch cassette mixtape" feeling. Neo Blue makes most of his music shifting between hardware and software using, FL Studio, an SP-404SX, and an MPC 2000xl to achieve that vintage sound.
