Krupa (43TWO) is a singer, writer, composer & producer who blends ethereal soul with introspective lyrics. Growing up in London, she was inspired by cinematic music & creates soundscapes & songs that invite reflection & escape. Self-taught, she learned by watching her mother sing & record Indian folk songs. Her production skills were sparked by a Sony double tape recorder, layering her vocals to sound like her favorite artists. Recently her song Courage was featured on CBS shows All American and East NY. She also scored the short film Kaur and released a Marvin Gaye-inspired single Share Your Soul Krupa has studied under a traditional South Indian lineage & records Sanskrit mantras which honour her heritage & the transformative power of ancient Vedic sound. Guided by her inner journey, her music is both spiritual & contemporary, between tradition & innovation. As a member of prog rock band Lunar Dunes & London's improv group SOLUS3 Krupa continues to evolve her sound, drawing influence from their live shows. She has collaborated & toured with Transglobal Underground & 1 Giant Leap “Jaw Droppingly Good” Evening Standard "Vocally at times Krupa sounds like Kate Bush but with balls. Let's hope audiences soon catch onto the fact that the future of music is with acts like this, rather than with the gaudy pyrotechnics of the X Factor." Howard Male - THE ARTS DESK “Dreamy foreboding atmosphere reminiscent of Massive Attack” Neil Spencer The Guardian
