Hailing from the South Coast of the UK, Frankie Knight delves into a dreamworld of haunting melodies and waves of lush tones. Disjointed, hip hop infused beats allow her vocals to drift elegantly overhead as she delivers her brand of beautifully crafted electronic pop. Frankie grew up in Hammersmith, West London but moved down to the Sussex coast to be closer to the sea and started writing and producing electronic music. She put her first EPs out on XVI Records, connecting with Ruby Taylor, playing keys for Yumi And The Weather and signing to Taylor's new label, Miohmi Records. Her debut album Blue Marble was released in 2019 with the first single, Tijuana receiving support from Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music, John Kennedy on Radio X, and making the top tracks of the week playlist on Apple Music. Themes of hope, travel and reflection thread through the tracks with references to trip-hop, soul, dub and jazz with pop sensibilities.
