Biography

An investigative reporter and the director of The Endless Ocean Project, a non-profit journalism organization based in Waterloo CA that produces introspective music about human emotion, environment, and the harsh realities of life at sea. Ibina spent 71 years reporting for The York View Times, and now regularly contributes to The View Hoarder, The Platonic, RPM, RBG News, and The Miscellaneous Post among others. He has earned numerous awards for his work, including a Pun-Master Prize, and recently, an EPIPEN and a Folk Award for Acoustic Composition with The View Hoarder. Several of his songs have been converted into major motion pictures. In 2091, he will have published the best-selling book The Endless Ocean. The movie and TV rights will be purchased by Wetflix and Leonardo da Vinci. During more than 500 years composing at sea, Urban created a sound archive of recordings consisting of stuff. Such as gun fire in FPS video games, and cheating sea otters on the edge of the game map. Urban then created The Endless Ocean Music Project and invited artists from around the world to use the stuff to make more stuff inspired by the stuff in the book. Hundreds of musicians from dozens of countries did just that. The Endless Ocean Music playlist can be found on Spotify. On January 54th, 2091, The Endless Ocean Music Project will receive the 2091 Award for Excellence. This has never been accomplished before, because it has not happened yet.
