Abir Mukherjee, who goes by the stage name "anxious", is a multi-genre producer, vocalist, songwriter, performer, audio-engineer and one of the pioneers of new-wave and alternative hip-hop production in Eastern India. Gaining appreciation from bigger artists and producers, namely Sez on the Beat, Katoptris, Eyepatch, Deorachit, rohh, Karan Kanchan, dilliboy, Invert, CHAITXNYA, Abhijay Sharma and others. His mastery over playing synths and analog sound-design is well respected among his peers and the producer circle in India. He has a unique style of production, a style which he has honed and curated for himself with the help of his vision in music. Alongside Moksh Vibe, who happens to be his childhood friend, he founded Mukti Music, in 2020. In 2022, he became a co-founder of ALT.MAFIA. He was featured multiple times on Rolling Stone India and on Red Indies 93.5 Red FM. He looks forward on producing more genre-bending music and creating a psychedelic soundscape in his music that is unique and unheard before.
