With a name inspired by the flux capacitor from Back To The Future; space wonk psychonauts Time Dilation Unit crash landed out of an open wormhole in August 2018 with debut single 'Pain in My Side', a tale of health anxiety and paranoid online self diagnosis. The single was picked up by Steve Lamacq on BBC 6 Music as his 'Lamacq Livener' and played regularly on his radio show. 
 Featuring members of The Helmholtz Resonators who were lost in space and emerged on another timeline, the band create stomping rocket fuelled psychedelic new wave art-punk, with synths, sax and heavy, heavy bass.
