Carter Z is a 22 year old producer from Oswego, IL. Carter first got into music when one of his best friends started to rap, BDS Sonny. Carter started off recording Sonny and other local artists in the area, in June of 2018 he started to make beats. He was working with upcoming artists that he was recording in Illinois, but when he met his manager Mitch (4da4) in early 2019 he started to build in the Atlanta area. Carter landed his first placement with Young Dro in September 2019. Carter has continued to work with many artists such as Yo Gotti, Big Boogie, Rich Homie Quan, Peewee Longway, Guap Tarantino, Lil Donald, Doe Boy, Kap G, Dirty Tay, Paperlovee, and more.
