DESERT STAR began in 2018 after a happy accident in a Korean karaoke bar, followed by a move from Stockport, England, to Las Vegas, Nevada - where Jamie Elliot rediscovered his love for 80’s music. 
 Combining these influences with his honed electronic production style and newfound love for songwriting/singing, his first release “Ocean Eyes” quickly accumulated over four million streams after landing at the top of the sought after ‘mint’ playlist on Spotify.
