Esengo is a DJ based in Geneva and Basel, and is also a music producer and former co- host of the "Jollof & Cheese" show on TRNSTN radio. Through his mixes, Esengo reappropriates the sounds of black communities. From Kuduro and Gqom to UK Funky and Brazilian Funk, these are the ingredients for a luminous musical cocktail. Currently, his focus is on community work in the Swiss nightlife and ballroom scene, building sustainable reciprocal spaces of joy and support. In early 2023, Esengo released an edit of a track by British producer Arma, entitled "Arma - Sequencing (Esengo Edit)", which served as an introduction to his new role as producer and his future musical project, which could see the light of day this year.
