Houston Texas based hip hop and rnb artist, JK, has been showcasing his skills in the music industry since 2011. Initially a rapper who began to sing rnb music as his career has elevated, JK has created a fusion of the two to create a unique sound and has not looked back since. 
 Originally from Corpus Christi Texas, Jk’s path to the illustrious music industry has not been an easy one. He moved to Houston Texas when he was 5 years old. Jk’s early strong musical influences include artists like Z ro, UGK, Musiq soul child, NeYo, and Michael Jackson to name a few. 
 Jk’s musical talents are not limited. He finds motivation from all of the things he loves. Growing up, JK had a love for football, track, theater, and of course, music. All of these things give him motivation to make music. He earned his nickname “Jk” playing football in middle school. In middle school he made friends with a group of 5 people. The group was called “Junior Hustle Click” and eventually became Empier Entertainment. Originally, they were just a group of friends dedicated to getting money. Eventually, that passion was turned into creating hip hop music. 
 Jk is an artist at Empier Entertainment and is also part owner of the recording label. He is also the COO of a music artist platform called The Rooftop Vibe.
