After getting in contact with drum&bass and eventually starting an events series called Bassface with a group of friends in his hometown of Groningen over 10 years ago, the Yannons project was started. In 2021, this resulted in his first single on Bristol based label Transparent Audio. Continuing to work with the label in 2022, his debut ‘Gila Monster’ EP gained wide support from some of the biggest names in the scene, such as Bredren, Arkaik, Klinical and Bladerunner. The EP showcases his distinctive minimal, deep and dark take on drum&bass music. Later releasing a successful collaboration with Geostatic on EKOU Recordings and continuing work with Transparent Audio on their Diffraction V.A. LP, Yannons has established himself to be an artist to keep an eye on. With over 10 years of experience in DJing and hosting events, Yannons knows how to bring his music to the dancefloor. Providing a razor-sharp mix of some of the darkest drum&bass out there, he’ll get any crowd moving.
