With a growing catalog of music produced by industry heavyweights like Matt Squire (blackbear), Sam Pura (State Champs), and Matt Malpass (blink-182, Magnolia Park), Ben DeHan creates a unique sound somewhere between Machine Gun Kelly and Angels & Airwaves. With an authenticity that can only be earned as a kid who saw the country through the window of a 15 passenger van and the urgency of a man who's seen the inside of a cubicle, he's quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. As a founding member of pop-punk band American Diary, Ben has shared stages with artists like All Time Low, Mayday Parade, and Yellowcard. His melancholically optimistic lyrics, meticulously programmed beats, and singalong choruses have drawn comparisons to alt/indie acts like Waterparks and The Band CAMINO, while the use of hooky guitar riffs and a "wear your heart on your sleeve" vocal performance feel right at home for fans of 2000’s Pop-Punk and Emo akin to blink-182 and Jimmy Eat World. Ben's latest release, "Last Flight," produced and mixed by Bryan Czap (The Dangerous Summer) and Matt Malpass, is an emo/pop-punk anthem that sounds like Blink 182 and The 1975 co-wrote a song for a John Hughes film. Its upbeat tempo, catchy melodies, and synth-pop vibes contrast with lyrics that tackle tough topics like anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Expect new singles from a new EP (also produced by Malpass), throughout the spring and summer, as well as tour dates and a big announcement!
