India Thieriot is a 24-year-old NYC based singer-songwriter from San Francisco. She has been writing songs since the age of 10, slowly developing her sound into what can now be described as a blend of soulful R&B and pop. She grew up being inspired by lyric-driven artists such as Emily King, Kacey Musgraves, and Taylor Swift and thoughtful lyricism is always at the forefront of her process as a result. She has said that songwriting is the only way she knows how to process her life experiences — translating moments into verses. Right now, India is drawing inspiration from other emerging artists based in NYC including Anna Shoemaker and Juliana Madrid. She has been performing around the city since moving last September and hopes to grow her fan base by releasing more music this year and collaborating with other up-and-coming artists, songwriters, and producers.
