Born & raised in Washington, DC, his musical journey began when a cousin taught him to play contemporary songs on the piano by artists such as Ne-Yo, Alicia Keys, and Celine Dion. While in 10th grade, DiVaud split with his high school sweetheart. The piano became his mode of expression. With inspirations from artists such as Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Jhene Aiko, and Bruno Mars he is stimulated by artists whose music provides feeling. While in college, he became competent in music production. His musical abilities evolved together naturally and he graduated from the University of New Haven as a Music Industry major. In 2016, DiVaud was an opening act for R&B singer-songwriter Eric Bellinger. The following year, he repeated his efforts and was an opening act for R&B singer-songwriter Sevyn Streeter.
