Born in Palma, Mallorca Pere began studying classical double bass at age eleven. Along side this he also took an interest in other styles of music and began taking part in the local music scene playing with different jazz and rock bands. In 2012 , Pere moved to Barcelona, to study Jazz and Modern Music in the Conservatori del Liceu. Here he studied with some important musicians like H. Fumero ( Tete Montoliu) , D. Mengual ( Free Spirits Big Band), Marc Miralta (Aaron Goldberg,Flamenco Jazz Reunion), Gary Willis ( Tribal Tech) Llibert Fortuny ( Pat Metheny) and participated in international workshops with musicians like Richard Bona, Chucho Valdés, Kenny Barron, Dave Holland, Kurt Rosenwinkel, John Patitucci... In 2014 Pere undertook an exchange with University of North Texas (USA) to study with Lynn Seaton. At the moment he is freelancing, touring and working on many different projects and has been playing around Spain with bands like Maxi Caballero Quartet, Salvador Sobral Trio, The Raggle Taggle Gipsies... ( Zaragoza, Basque Country, Navarra, Balearic Islands...) as well as performing in countries like Portugal and Norway. Pere has just produced his first album WHO’S HOLLAND(2016).
