Caribbean born rapper and songwriter Johntay has always been drawn to the creative side of life from a young age. Her passion begun in high school when she got introduced to performing arts. She then went on to study performing arts in college where she excelled and her love for performing grow. Johntay pushes the boundaries of what a modern day female rapper should be. Her music inspires, uplifts and Motivates. Her style of music bridges the gap between the young and the old as her unique sound appeals to both generation with her mix of hip-hop and dancehall sound, as well as being a unique inspirational artist. Johntay also owns her own tshirt company called militant justice that she started in 2018. She is currently working on new projects and merchandise set to be released in the following year.
