Simon Foerster living Mannheim Germany, is a classically trained harpist, pushing the perceived boundaries of the harp as an instrument through physical and sonic manipulation. Besides his job as a harp player in various orchestras, Simon is part of the improvisation based collective Phlegma Quartet and various other experimental, often improvisational formations. Beside the harp he plays various other instruments like sakuhachi and trumpet.
