Korshi T, born Nathan Tsagli in Keta (Ghana), has become what he describes as a rhythmic singer/songwriter. A multifaceted artist who also raps and is more than comfortable performing in the HipHop/Rap and Afro-fusion genres. He spent most of his early years experimenting with sounds and playing several instruments. This love and affinity for music exploration and expression has fashioned him into the artiste with a vast array of ability he is today. Korshi T cites Ed Sheeran and Asa as the main influences on his singing journey and M3nsa and Kendrick Lamar as the two that influenced his rap style. The bulk of inspiration for his content, according to him, has been his life experiences. He finds a way to communicate these experiences effectively over beats to inspire his audiences and let them know they are not alone He dropped his first single “Me Ne Woa” featuring Geewan in 2014, and ever since then he has not looked back. He has followed up so far with amazing content recruiting some of Africa’s great budding talents in creating songs like “Awo” ft. Boi H and “Rain” under his previous moniker ‘me.Dmason’. His recent single and first one to be released under the “Korshi T” moniker is After Zero, an afrobeats ear pleaser released in 2019, that exhibits just how amazing his voice really is.
