An Information Technology graduate currently studying music production & mixing, Sabelo Nkosi aka Spades Magarav was born in Springs, South Africa, where he still lives and works. In his musical pieces, since 2016, Spades Magarav specializes in amazingly soulful styles of music including funk, house, rap & amapiano. Spades Magarav shows the power of his songwriting through catchy melodies & well written hooks. In 2021, 'Magarav' began working on his amapiano album titled "Bhuti Wama DMD" inspired by the popular & coveted clothing brand DMD Muracchini. The album is based on his everyday life, his love for friends & family, as well as how he represents the Material Culture. Magarav captures the very essence of each song on the album in a simple, sensual and compelling way over the bass driven log drums & smooth jazzy chords.
