Nolan Lewis is an independent Jamaican-American rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer raised between Los Angeles, CA, and Washington, D.C., now currently based between Bethesda, MD and Middletown, CT working to make a name for himself and become a champion for Black and Queer artists with a new, infectious pop-rap sound. Creating since 12 years old, Lewis finds himself influenced by artists like Aminé, Azealia Banks, Big Sean, Chloe x Halle, CHIKA, Doja Cat, Kali Uchis, Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, Ravyn Lenae, Solange, Tierra Whack, Tyler, The Creator, and other visionaries of decades past and present. He has garnered slight attention for various unofficial remixes found on YouTube and TikTok, several of which have received acknowledgment from the original artist and/or production team. In May 2023, Lewis performed alongside Tierra Whack at Wesleyan University’s 2023 Spring Fling, following the release of his album "PLASTIQUE", the following year opening with Graham Riley for Snail Mail and A$AP Ferg at the same event. Shortly after the release of "PLASTIQUE (Deluxe)" and Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday 2" in December 2023, Lewis’ remix of Minaj’s viral track “FTCU" amassed an impressive 3.3 million views on TikTok and was featured on Genius and MuchMusic, exposing greater audiences to his original music.
