Vegas has long loved the evocative simplicity of pop music. And in an industry where pop artists are a dime a dozen, laying down catchy melodies over shopping carts of slick beats, Vegas largely prefers to start from scratch on his guitar, marrying electropop, symphonic rock and hip-hop influences in the studio and executing performance art pieces nothing short of “glam theatre”.
