Mars Kasei is a Bay Area - California based Vocalist, Producer and DJ. The Mexican-American artist is a long time footwork, juke and jungle enthusiast. In recent years, she's become more inspired by her Latina roots and the sounds coming out of Mexico and the Latin American underground. Her DJ sets are high-energy w/ addictingly fast tempos 140-170bpm. All in all, her undying passion for sound and the emotions and energy invoked from music is what continues to ignite her journey. Mars has released on established labels: Moveltraxx, Juke Bounce Werk, Worst Behavior & more. She was a recent radio resident on UK-based SWU.FM and hosts an event series "Club Triste" in the Bay Area highlighting DJs from the local and global underground with an emphasis on marginalized artists.
